What's It Like Working With The VO Strategist?

Have you ever wondered what it's like working with me?

I'm a theater trained actor, and my journey started at Montclair State University where I pursued my bachelor's degree in theater. From there, I delved into classical training at the national Shakespeare Conservatory, honing my skills even further. But my passion for acting didn't stop there. I ventured into the world of voice acting, taking on various roles to develop my genre proficiency as well as earn money. Interestingly, I also had experience as a corporate trainer at Bennigan's, where I traveled across the country, opening restaurants and training the staff. This experience taught me so much about communication, coaching, and understanding the intricacies of service.

When it comes to coaching...

I've come to identify four major styles: therapist, drill sergeant, professor, and cheerleader. Personally, I align more with the professor/therapist type. I love delving deep into the details and analyzing the voiceover industry and the performing arts industry as a whole. I believe in taking a holistic perspective, looking at how all the gears of this industry interlock.

It might sound a bit strange, but I'm a unique blend of left brain and right brain. While I'm an artist at heart, I also have a fascination with office supplies and spreadsheets. I believe that true success in the performing arts requires both worlds. Finding the balance between being creative and embracing the business side of things is essential.

One of my strengths as a coach is helping people identify their pain points. Regardless of where you are in your voiceover journey, I can assist you in creating a coherent, actionable plan that adapts to the ever-changing nature of the industry. It's important to understand who you are as an artist, what you want to achieve, and how you can make it happen. Through our partnership, I aim to empower you to be the artist of your dreams while grounding you in the realities of the business.

So, if you're looking for a coach who is analytical, empathetic, and dedicated to your growth, I'm here for you. Let's embark on this exciting journey together and make your voice heard in the world of performing arts!"
