And hello on this GORGEOUS Monday morning! Is Spring finally here? Is it?
First off, I hope everyone had a chance to read my quarterly newsletter. If you missed it, you can read it here.
So yesterday I had a recording session in NYC. Yes, that’s right, I said yesterday. A recording session in NYC on a Sunday. The client was in town from the UK and usually has sessions on weekends so off I go. It was weird! Even taking the bus was odd since it was a completely different type of passenger. They were going in for fun, not work and everyone was chatting.
Walking down the streets felt different, too. There were lots of people bustling about as usual but like the bus it, too had a different tone to it. Not necessarily more relaxed, but more upbeat. It was really interesting!
TIP OF THE WEEK: Isn’t it fascinating how sometimes things can be the same but completely different? Jobs, people, places. It reminds me of how important it is to be aware of the context of your surroundings and the people therein. Trust me, it can save you from some serious faux pas!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK: Our critics are our best friends. Leon Panetta
STUFF!: The best part of my weekend was celebrating Asha’s Third Birthday!
Isn’t she beautiful?
