CRM Secrets for Voice Actors: A Recap of the VO BOSS Podcast

On a recent episode of the VO BOSS podcast, Anne Ganguzza and I dove deep into the world of CRMs (Customer Relationship Management systems) for voice actors.  We discussed why CRMs are essential, explored the sales funnel, and shared our own experiences with various CRM tools.

Why is a CRM Crucial for Voice Actors?

Marketing is all about building meaningful relationships. CRMs help voice actors achieve this by providing a centralized system to store and manage client information (past, present, and potential). This eliminates the need to "reinvent the wheel" with each interaction and facilitates nurturing those all-important client relationships. A CRM helps organize contacts and prevent leads from slipping through the cracks, especially with a busy inbox.

There's no one-size-fits-all CRM. The best CRM is the one that meets your specific needs and workflow. I recommend exploring different options and finding what works best for you. It takes time and effort to set up and populate a CRM effectively, but the long-term benefits in terms of organization, efficiency, and ultimately, increased voice over bookings are worth it.
